This is the story of Waata the Wētā who was very different from other Wētā. He leaves his home in the woodpile and sets out on a journey to find the perfect home. The chook pen, the ride on mower and old mates boots are certainly not it!!!
This book also includes a page with interesting facts about Wētā. For instance the Wētā like to live together and their home is called a gallery and they sleep all day coming out at night to feed and play.
Written by Josephine Carson-Barr and illustrated by Simon Barr, it is 24cm x 20cm, has 25 pages and is paperback.
