Hihi CuppaCoffee Cup
This cup features a pair of Hihi and Flax flowers on a green background. The Hihi (what a great name - Hihi) also know as the Stitchbird happens to be one of New Zealand's rarest birds. They are currently hanging out on Little Barrier Island!
This CUPPACOFFECUP is designed by NZ Artist Janine Millington and is New Zealand made too!
This reusable coffee cup has simple and convenient function with an easy push up lid that also clips into place firmly.
Size of the cup is 12oz which is the standard medium size offered at Coffee Shops.
CUPPACOFFEECUP is made from food-grade polypropylene – a plastic that can be easily recycled at the end of its life and made into new consumer goods. The lid is made from Elastomer also easily recycled so both cup and lid are good to go!!
Hand washing is recommended as dishwashers tend to be a bit abrasive.
Why use CUPPACOFFEECUP?
Ok, so let's get on to this. Breaking it down is easy. Every time you take your own reusable cup to your favourite barista you are helping reduce waste and helping the planet. We know it's only a small gift but we like to think every little bit helps. We kind of want to think that one day, it will be like, "why did everyone use single use takeaway cups back then?"
It is estimated that 295 million disposable cups are used each year in New Zealand. That number is even higher in Australia. It would be great to see that number reduced and reduced significantly.
While, of course, there is some environmental impact in producing a CUPPACOFFEECUP, reusing yours for a year or two will definitely help the planet!
