Good Change Wooden Dish Brush
This Scandinavian inspired, awesome dish brush is super eco friendly. These stylish guys are made from sustainably sourced beech wood and natural tampico plant fibres for the bristles with ZERO microplastics. The head of the brush is designed with a curve to optimise brushing.
The best part is when they are all done, they can be composted!!! We love that! Yep the entire wooden dish brush is natural and so will break down naturally.
The brush is 29 cm long.
The tampico plant fibres are very resilient and polish & scrub without scratching. This wooden dish brush is your ideal sustainable alternative to plastic dish brushes.
Wood has also shown to breed less bacteria than synthetic materials.
How to maintain the brush:
It's designed to last for a long time. You can clean the brush with hot water and soap.
It is important to note, the wood is NOT treated, so it could be victim of mould if not looked after correctly. Please dry the brush with the head facing up and in a ventilated place.
The brush needs air to dry through. If it is left in a cupboard or with the bristle head facing down, the water will not evaporate and you could end up with mould on the wood.
It is a deliberate choice not to treat the wood, to keep it as natural as possible, so please be aware of this.
TIP: you could try to add some oil from your kitchen pantry on the brush to protect it.
“I can safely say I don’t think I’ll ever go back to a plastic dish brush — or even another eco-option”
