Be Clean - Honey, Oat and Almond Face Soap
Be Clean - Honey, Oat and Almond Face Soap
A beautiful clean soap from Be Natural. Artisan soap hand crafted the old fashioned way, using cold processed methods in the shadow of the majestic Mount Taranaki on the North Island of New Zealand. And as the lovely Mother and Daughter team, Sarah and Susan, from Be Natural say, "Pure - Safe - Simple". The soap is made from locally sourced, certified organic and sustainably produced ingredients which is subsequently the best, safe and effective skin care you can buy for you and your family.
Wild oats (Avina Sativa) have been well used in skincare throughout much of recorded history. As early as 2000 BC, the Arabians and Egyptians used oats to beautify the skin. The ancient Greeks and Romans also documented the use of oat baths to heal skin ailments. Oats are great for sensitive, allergy or eczema prone skin because it is an excellent moisturiser with skin healing, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and itch relieving benefits.
Honey is a humectant, which means it will attract and lock in moisture to the skin. Honey is extremely moisturising. This moisture and elasticity helps to give the skin it’s natural glow and healthy “look.” Honey is full of anti-oxidants and is anti-bacterial.
This soap can also be used as a facial cleanser – great at the end of the day to remove makeup and grime. Can also be used as a baby soap, body soap and is fantastic for mens shaving. The combination of gorgeous oils makes for a soft soothing cleanse. The girls love making these as the soap kitchen fills with the aroma of toasted caramel and sweet honey. Yum.
