NZ Native Bird Jigsaw Puzzle

We love this New Zealand themed puzzle. Designed and made in New Zealand. How sweet is that!

Featuring New Zealand native birds, this puzzle is simply stunning. Being showcased and with a backdrop of New Zealand fauna is the Kākā, South Island Tomtit, Shining Cuckoo, Yellowhead, Parakeet, NZ Creeper, Tūī, Stitchbird, Pukeko, Kea, Kererū, Morepork, Fernbird, Wren, Rifleman, Pīwakawaka, Bellbird, Kingfisher, Shag, Penguin, Brown duck, Pukeko, Pied Stilt, Kiwi, Kākāpō and Weka. Wow!!!

Can you spot the Kākāpō? She is quite well camouflaged. And did you know she is also known as the Owl Parrot? She is a large, flightless, ground dwelling Parrot endemic to New Zealand and wait for it, lives for 40 -80 years! Of course these facts mean they face a tough time against introduced nasties. As of writing, there are only 199 alive today. A concerted recovery effort is underway, but gee what a challenge it is.

The jigsaw comes packaged in a sturdy cylinder tube with metal cap, perfect for gift giving and storage. 

This puzzle is available in 500  standard size pieces.

Finished size is approximately 50 cm x 35 cm.
